She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nunley and Lois Nunley; and her brother Rodney Earl Nunley. She is survived by: her husband Charles James Bishop; her daughter Rhonda Hawley Patsell (Butch); and her stepchildren, Gloria Meadors (Larry) and Robert L. Bishop (Regina). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Baptist Church (2410 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be provided to Blue Ridge Baptist Church.
