She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Scruggs Thurman (Chad) and Angela Scruggs Thompson (Tommy); her grandsons, Richard Logan Arthur, Mason Michael Thompson and Quintin Daniel Arthur; and her siblings, John E. Calvert, Mary C. Brown, Carolyn C. Mills and Bertha J. Calvert.

She has made many donations to the National Wildlife, Arbor Day, St. Judes, and many religious organizations.
