He is survived by: his children, Anita Coffey, Thom Cawley (John), Tammy Johnson (Phillip) and Shawn Cawley (Tammy); his grandchildren, Michael Coffey, Christina Creasy (Nick), Derek Johnson (Lauren), Zachary Cawley and Cameron Scott; his great grandchildren, TyLee Laughlin (Miranda), Tiara Jones, Maci Coffey, Kimber Coffey, Keaton Pollard, Kaeden Coffey, BrayLee Creasy, Braxton Johnson and Kinsley Johnson; his siblings, William Cawley, Wayne Cawley (Pat), Kenny Cawley and Dorothy "Tee" Hurt (Tommy); and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Cooper and Danny Brinkley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1401 Mountain View Rd, Vinton, VA 24179).
