She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Simmons and Virginia Simmons; and her siblings, Gerald Simmons and Barbara Jarrett (Patrick Moriarty). She is survived by: her brother Garland Simmons (Carolyn); her children, Mark Scott (Sherry), Gina Barrick (John) and Susan Cambeletta (Louis); her grandchildren, Casey Scott, Jessey Martin, Gina Shield, Amanda Crosswhite, Andrew Barrick, Giavanna Cambeletta, Parker Scott, Guilianna Vanwingerden and Brayden Scott; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Bella Crosswhite, Emersyn, Dawson Martin, Maverick Scott and Jonah Shield.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice, or a simple act of kindness done in Jean's memory.
