She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Blackmon and Margaret Blackmon; her close friend Hester Townsend; her son Addison Steven Harville; and her brother-in-law James Matthews.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jessica Harville of Scottsburg, VA.; her granddaughter Ellen Crowder Slagle (Morgon); her sons, Douglas Scott Crowder and Jason Crowder (Donna); her great grandchild Ada Rae Slagle; her grandson Chase Crowder; her siblings, Howard Lewis and Phyllis Matthews; and her close friend Patricia Nichols.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home (115 Main St, South Boston, VA 24592).
