He is survived by: his siblings, Rosa Young (Leon) of Roxboro, Margaret Young (Cecil) of Roxboro, John Young (Linda) of Roxboro, Alice Ingram of Roxboro, Stanley Young (Virnae) of South Boston, Lottie Mae Smith of Virgilina, Claudine Royster of Roxboro, Christine Tuck of Buffalo Junction, Virginia and Ernest Hughes of Buffalo Junction, Virginia; and his nephew Amare Traynham. He is also survived by nieces, other nephews, additional relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1037 Union Ave, Virgilina, VA 24598).
