He is survived by: his parents, Albert Sr. James and Waltina James; his brother Brian James Sr.; his nephew Brian James Jr.; his aunts and uncles, Wanda Gatlin, Therlene Freeman, Mary Williams (Larry), Subrena Winbish (Ronnie), Joyce Archibald (Linwood), Maude Freeman, Gloria McPherson, Richard James (Linda), Irvin James (Daphne), Forrest Gatlin, Bernard Gilchrist, Carlton Gilchrist, Roger Gilchrist (Lynn) and Calvin Gilchrist (Teresa); his cousin Alvin "Mingo" Armstrong; and his close friends, Jerome Reynolds and Will Wilson.
