He is survived by: his wife Betty Moss Sundin; his sons, Burton McChesney Sundin (Francine) and Reps Barnes Sundin (Jennifer); his grandson Reps Ramsey Sundin; his siblings, John Sundin, Eric Sundin and Eugenia Conway; and his nieces and nephews, Carl, Drew, Elisabeth, Bradley and Erin.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Galilee Episcopal Church (3928 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hollywood Cemetery (412 S Cherry St, Richmond, VA 23220).
