It is with sadness that the passing of Ann Gravitt (Virginia Beach, Virginia) is shared. Ann, born on April 24, 1942 in Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on September 25, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barksdale Easley Gravitt and Alease Wright Fraser; and her brothers, Ronnie (Ronald Gravitt) and Wayne (Boswell Wayne Gravitt). She is survived by: her significant other Mary Constantine; her adoptive daughter Ebony Burton; her sisters-in-law, Helen H. Gravitt, Helen P. Wilkerson, Jeanette C. Paige, Inena P. Rice and Carlena P. Belt (James); and her nieces and nephews, Dana Bevington (Dennis), Michael Gravitt (Amy Beatty), Ronald Gravitt, Jr., Robyn Gravitt, Ronnie Gravitt and Rachel Graviitt. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel (5033 Rouse Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23462).
