She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Harrell Mosley and Lawrence Harrell; her husband Freddie Lee Boykin, Sr.; her daughters, Tiny Hart and Emma Black; her grandson Arthur Cox, Jr.; and her siblings, Essie Brooks, Juanita Smith, Lucinda Harrell, Lawrence, Willie, Jessie and Joe Harrell.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Vanda Kennedy; her great grandchildren, Elise Rivera, Leon Moss, III, Eboni Cox, Arthur Cox, III (Tabitha), Maxine Sly (Terrell), Urian Rivera, Dejanae Myers and Jasmine Cox; her sister Linnie Barnett of Rialto, CA; her stepchildren, Ruth Ann Boykin of Pittsburgh, PA and Freddie Lee Boykin Jr. (Lisa) of Houston, TX; and her caregiver Dianne Cooper. She is also survived by eleven great-great-grandchildren.
