He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony A. Merklinger and Joyce Merklinger; and his sister Wendy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Linda Merklinger; his children, James Anthony Merklinger (Tiffany), John Addison Merklinger of Encinitas, CA, Jeffery Dennis Merklinger (Debbie), Beach and Megan Carty McCain (Sean) of Phoenixville, PA.; his sister Gail Greer of Atlanta, GA.; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Anna, Tyler, Emily, Isabella, Jacob, Max, Bosco, Sylvia and Kierane. He is also survived by his children, and later on grandchildren.
