He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aubrey Joseph Swinson and Mary Elizabeth Bridgeman; his wife Jean Rochee Lowe Swinson; his children, David Swinson (Suffolk), Melissa Egan (Richard) of Virginia Beach and Erik Swinson of Chesapeake; his grandchildren, Kaylyn Swinson, Kearstin Swinson, Michael Wheeler, Aubrey Swinson, Lauren Swinson and Madison Egan; and his sister Gloria Turner of York, SC. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
