She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mulvaney and Mae Mulvaney; her husband Robert A. Nelin; and her son Gregory (Nicole). She is survived by: her children, Robert (Diane), Ann Marie (Allison) and Karen Kagel (Darryl); her brothers, Thomas Mulvaney (Bonnie) and Ken Mulvaney (Maggie); her brother-in-law Richard Nelin (Sandee); her grandchildren, Patrick (Olivia), Tyler (Hannah), Brian (Taylor), Andrew, Caroline, Cooper, Joey and Jenna; and her great grandchild Reese. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laskin Road Chapel (2002 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church (1404 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451).
