She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Wacke and Fanny Wacke; her husband Seymour; her sister Marilyn; her brother-in-law Jerome Lambert; and her nephew Robert Helfant.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Rachel Simmelink Vinson of Virginia Beach, Joanne Simmelink Wieworka of Richmond and Justin Frye of New York City; her daughters, Jill Simmelink (John Simmelink) and Andi Helfant-Frye (William Frye); her great grandchildren, Ryder of Mila, AJ and Izzy; and her nieces and nephews, Sheila Josephberg of Palm Beach, Joan Irvine of Seattle, Marvin Neuwirth of Wilmington, NC, Freddie Neuwirth of Wilmington, NC and Robin Neuwirth of Wilmington, NC..
