He is survived by: his wife Paula Whitehurst Knight; his sons, Hunter (Janna), Kyle (Marisa) and Forrest (Molly); his grandchildren, Bridger, Linwood, Eli, Briar and Sawyer Knight; his siblings, Shannon Knight, Terry Knight Burton (Billy), John Middleton (Judy) and Wayne Middleton (Cindy); and his brother-in-law John Hathaway.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church or Military Aviation Museum.
