It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Barkley Ricks of Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Ricks, Sr. and Allie Barkley Ricks; his wife Stella Ann Braxton Ricks; his daughter Sandra Ricks Wingler; and his siblings, Edith Ricks Vinson, Otis Ricks, Jr. and Robert Wells Ricks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lyndia Ricks Bernet (Martin) and Barbara Ricks; his grandchildren, Lucas Barkley Bernet (Carla), Courtney Graf Bernet (Jordan Sensenig) and Sarah Katherine Bernet Mauck (Jake); and his great grandchild Mariana Therese Bernet.
