He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Calandra and Maria Consiglia Calandra (Zarrelli); his siblings, Michele, Giuseppe Calandra and Maria Zarrelli; and his wife Gemma Calandra.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Calandra (Sigrid) of Virginia Beach, VA and Joseph Calandra (Gina) of Southington; his grandchildren, Dominic, Carla Gemma, Paula, Gemma, Laura and Sophia; and his siblings, Filiberto of Gloversville, NY, Egidio Calandra of Gloversville, NY, Michelina D'Errico of Avon and Emilia DeCiccio of Gloversville, NY.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home (211 N Main St, Southington, CT 06489). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Dominic Church (1050 Flanders Rd, Southington, CT 06489).
