With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol D. Palmer (Virginia Beach, Virginia), who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Fetters and Carrie Elizabeth Robertson; and her siblings, Don Wayne "Butch" Robertson, Jimmy Dale Robertson, Samuel Gene Robertson, Daniel Perry Robertson and Sadie Irene Chesser.
She is survived by: her husband Luther Palmer; her sons, Joe Burt II (Melanie) and Jeremy Burt; her stepchildren, Michael Palmer and Tricia Croom; her grandchildren, Joe Burt III (Olivia), Ashley Burt, Jordan Burt and Heather Chaffin (Danny); her great grandchildren, Luke and Danica; and her sister Fleta Bell Walker (James). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Carol's honor.
