She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Omar Erhard and Mildred Wester Lanier Erhard; her husband Armistead Jones Maupin; and her sister Sue Erhard Midgett. She is survived by: her sons, James "Jim" Powell and Michael Powell (Anne); her great grandchild Wyatt Powell; and her sister Nancy Erhard Cole. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dearest friends.
