He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul Herron and Paula Yost Herron; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Susan Herron (Cuff); his sons, Chris Herron Jr. (Tarenne) and John Herron (Sydney); his siblings, Ken Herron of Jacksonville, Florida, Hillary Mallory of Phoenixville and Margo Rumsfeld of Bethesda, Maryland; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Christopher III and William of Midlothian, Virginia.
