She was predeceased by: her son Dennis Laxa (Tiffany); and her parents, Pablo Songco and Arsenia Songco. She is survived by: her husband Horacio Laxa; her children, Richard Laxa (Christine) and Mary Bly (Man); her grandchildren, Vanessa Laxa-Gutierrez (Patrick), Kiara Laxa, Ahreanna Laxa, Xavier Laxa, Kaila Ramirez (Mark), Kobe Laxa (Hannah), Jonah Bly, Josiah Bly, Nadia Laxa and Nixon Laxa; and her siblings, Gloria, Alice, Paquito, Chito, Bodoy and Dan.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel (1485 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Colonial Grove Memorial Park (3445 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456).
