She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Cornelia Baldwin Dixon and Robert Xavier McKee. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary McKee Schofield of Virginia Beach and Linda McKee Joy of Alexandria; her son-in-law Gregg Joy; her grandchildren, Katherine Joy (Chris Taylor), Stephen Joy (Claire) and Robert Schofield (Erin); and her great grandchildren, Calvin, Nathan and Charlotte.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laskin Road Chapel (2002 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery (2020 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad or CHKD.
