He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Johnson and Luvenia Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Johnson; his children, Dan Johnson II (Andrea), Donna Harris (Michael), Don Johnson and David Johnson; and his grandchildren, Andriana, Ashley, Dan III, Christopher, Christina, Christian, Christshon, Christsiah, Christal, Christyn, Christa, Daquan, Imani, Don Elijah, Hadessah, Dontre, David, Jessica and Selena. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Olive Grove Baptist Church (1034 Albert Ave, Norfolk, VA 23513). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Albert G Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
