He was predeceased by: his mother Lorraine Jones Foley; and his siblings, John, Mike, Lorraine and Pat.
He is survived by: his father John Francis; his wife Diane Marie Tomaso; his children, Kathleen McDaniel (Gary), Sharon Poulos (Todd), Douglas Foley, Melinda Nearpass (Homer) and Anthony Foley; and his brothers, Tony and Tim. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church (1404 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM.
