It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Keith Rea of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Harrell Rea and William Franklin Rea; his niece Sarah Rea of Norfolk; his nephew Thomas "Tommy" C. Stewart, Jr. of Chesapeake; and his brothers-in-law, John Mauser and Thomas Clayton Stewart of Chesapeake.
He is survived by: his wife Lynnae Steeg Rea; his children, Nathan D. Rea of Virginia Beach and Katelyn Rea Teixeira (Filipe) of Guyton, GA; his grandchildren, Chloe R. Teixeira, Austin R. Teixeira and Colt S. Rea; his siblings, Linda Stewart of Chesapeake, Andrea Watson (Kenny) and William "Bill" F. Rea of Norfolk; and his pet Wesson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to express their sympathy consider a donation, in Danny's name, to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
