He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel L. Brunson, Sr. and Earnestine Brunson; and his brothers, Arnold Brunson and Elmo Rivers. He is survived by: his wife Ann Brunson-Virginia; his son Jelani Brunson; his daughter-in-law Natasha Menier (Aiesha Brunson); his daughter Virginia; his grandchildren, Marcus Conrad- of Ohio, Ahjanay Brunson-Virginia and Destiny Menier-Virginia; his sister Gloria Rivers Preston (Georgia); his nieces, Porschia Rivers- of Georgia and Tameka Brunson; and his close friends, Johnny Smalls– of Georgia and Edward "Hug" Huggins.
