He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kaufman and Florence Kaufman; and his son Jasen David Kaufman (Carolyn). He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Kaufman; his child Lissa Bauder; his grandchildren, Ashlynn Kolmer (Cameron), Katelyn Philleo, Austin Philleo, David Reid Kaufman and Jordan Kaufman; his great grandchildren, Raelynn "Rae" Kolmer and Alessandra "Ali" Navarrete; his brother Ronald Kaufman (Patricia Kaufman); his nieces, Katie Kaufman-Cunningham and Kelli Kaufman-Huelen; and his nephew Kevin Kaufman.
