With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Paul O'Bannon of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Moberly, Missouri, who passed away on August 17, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard O'Bannon and Marilyn O'Bannon; his brother Thomas O'Bannon; and his in-laws, Donald and Clara Gude.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Gude Huseman; his children, Aaron Huseman (Sarah), Amanda O'Bannon, Brice O'Bannon, Brittney Rekrut (Jim) and Miki Iwamoto; his grandchildren, Ezekiel O'Bannon, Lilin Skelton, Noah Huseman, Ava Huseman, Juniper Rekrut, Augustine Rekrut, Suzuka Iwamoto, Reiji Iwamoto and Ema Iwamoto; and his siblings, Norman O'Bannon (Kathy), Lesa Netland (Mark), Jeff O'Bannon (Marjean), Russell O'Bannon and Donald Gude.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Dave's memory to the Virginia Beach SPCA (VBASPCA), honoring his love for animals.
