She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Wiggins and Hannah Wiggins; and her siblings, Martha Wiggins, Walter Wiggins, Christine Lovette, Ophelia Hardy, Mary Shannon, Earl Wiggins, Ulysses Wiggins and James Wiggins.
She is survived by: her husband William E. Patterson; her children, Carlton Patterson, Desiree Harper Blackmon and Charles Patterson; her grandchildren, Yu'Vaune McMillian, Troy Harper, Jr., Tashima Patterson, Briar Patterson, Charles Patterson, II and Tyrrell Nowden; her siblings, Wilena Marable and Michael Wiggins; her sister-in-law Winifred Wiggins; her goddaughter Dawn Gray; and her daughter-in-law Dr. Robin Joseph. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She remained committed to giving her best self to her husband, family, church and friends until the challenges of the pandemic and her declining health, which limited her abilities.
