She was predeceased by: her parents, James S. Willoughby and Dovie Lee Willoughby; and her brothers, James and Floyd of Hollonville, GA. She is survived by: her husband Jack L. Ard Jr. of Virginia Beach; and her children, James S. Ard (Linda) of Margarettsville, NC, John E. Ard (Michele) of Lawrenceburg, KY and Deborah L. Welker of Virginia Beach, VA.. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and their spouses, and her 19 great-grandchildren.
