She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hunter and Lucile Hunter; her brother Calvin Hunter; her daughter Paula Johnson; her nephews, Earl and Conway Hunter; and her grandson Michael Johnson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Hunter, Peggy and Netti Hunter; and her sons, Tim Johnson, Mike Johnson, DJ Locklear and Liam Boateng. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
