She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Caroline Braren and Cornelius Friedrich Braren; and her siblings, Inge and Früd Volkert. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Fontaine Cochran; her sons, Virgil (Ricki) of Chesapeake and Mark of Newburg, PA.; and her daughters-in-law, Christa and Melanie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and her beloved grandchildren.
