He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Hamner Jackson Green and Elisha Parker Green, Sr.; and his brother Jack Green. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Taylor Green; his children, Chris Hughes (Kerry) of Mount Juliet and Justin Green (Melinda) of Murfreesboro; his granddaughters, Cali and Kara Hughes of Mount Juliet; his brother Ike Green (Evonne) of Virginia Beach; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Green of Chesapeake, VA and Beverly Taylor Hatch (Larry) of Danville, VA. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home (601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rosewood Memorial Park (631 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462).
