With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eppa Lee Dalton of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce Dudley; his parents, Samuel Perry and Lillian Parrish Perry; his foster parents, Jacob Dalton and Mellie Dalton; his wife Lavonne Emma; his stepchildren, Philip Davis, Evelyn Davis, Brenda Sterne, Rhonda Dudley and Diana Morris; his brothers, Ralph Perry, Johnny Perry, Samuel Mason and Jonas Dalton; Joyce Dudley Dalton and Gladys Davis Dalton.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip L. Dalton and Lavonne "Elaine" Dalton; his stepchildren, James Davis and Barbara Askew; his grandchildren, Heather Laughon, Timothy Shea, Scott, Steven Askew and Kari Taylor; his siblings-in-law, Arthur J. and June Hamlett Mosebrook (Guy); his nieces and nephews, Mary Beth Perry Fincher, Sharon Dalton Williams, Mark Perry Mason, Byron Hinton and Pete Dalton; Andrea. He is also survived by nine other grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
Rather than flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be a great remembrance of Eppa Lee "Pete" Dalton.
