She was predeceased by: her mother Sara Elizabeth Porter Barnes; her husband Ralph W. Ward, Sr.; her parent Thomas G. Barnes; her siblings, Thomas, Robert and Bobbie; and her great grandchild Ashley Marie Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Weldon "Skip" Ward, Jr. (Kathy) and Sheila Nadine Miller (Michael); her grandsons, Trey (Ralph III), Jeffrey, Jacob Ward, Seth and Ian Miller; her sisters-in-law, Katie Jo and Helen Ward; and her extended family, Ray, Norma Hall and Roger Gibson. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons.
