She is survived by: her children, Patricia Strong (Roger) of Berlin, NJ, Linda Beisch (William) of Virginia Beach, VA, Doris Locke (Joseph) of Jacksonville, FL, Carl Matthews, Jr. (Gale) of Selma, NC, Michael Matthews (Mary) of Virginia Beach, VA and Christopher Matthews (Marsha) of Chesapeake, VA. She is also survived by married to her late husband for almost 75 years, seventeen grandchildren and thirty-seven great-grandchildren.
