He was predeceased by: his parents, Glover F. Pogue and Laura Pogue (Huff); his wife Ethel Marion Pogue (Grassle); his brother Robert O. Pogue (Helen); his sister-in-law Charlene Pogue of Missouri; his parents-in-law, Molly and Karl Grassle; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Grassle (Nancy) and Wilma Sanders of New Jersey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Snider (Lee) of Christiansburg and Chris J. Pogue of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Taryn L. Strachan (Dave) of Richlands, NC and Cody L. Snider of Christiansburg; and his brother Orie L. Pogue of St. Louis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
