He is survived by: his children, Frederick C. Irvis, Jr. and Nichole B. Carter (Khevin); his sister Pamela J. Hunter (William K. "Pete") of High Point, NC; and his grandchildren, Lydia C. Carter and Aliyah J. Carter of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
