He is survived by: his wife Nancy Moskway-Vadersen; his children, Cameron Vadersen-Jacob (Michael) and Andrew Vadersen; his stepson Michael Moskway; his granddaughter Morgan Jacob; his siblings, Mark Vadersen, Julia Vadersen and Jill McNulty (Neal); and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Mintz, Wayne Sykes (Lynn), Betty Long (James) and Ann Sykes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laskin Road Chapel (2002 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments (2002 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
