We are sad to announce that, on January 30, 2023, at the age of 80, Gerard Joseph Gavin of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Gavin and Joseph Gavin; and his mother-in-law Daisy Everett. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his son Stephen; his grandchildren, Cooper and Brady; his brothers, Robert, William and Arthur; his sister-in-law Carol Estes; Lori. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
