She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Smith and Ruby Gunter Smith; her husband Thomas A. Potter, Sr.; and her brother Charles L. Smith Jr. (Sonny). She is survived by: her children, Thomas A. Potter, Jr. (Gina) and Lisa Dru Potter-Ketner (Beach); her grandchildren, Thomas A. Potter, Tyler Potter Sakis, Casey John Potter (Gina), Beach and Lorren M. Ketner (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Lucy Belle and Blake Sakis. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces & cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown (1264 N Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or any SPCA.
