She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Gerald DeLong (Buddy) of Lynchburg, Delores Callahan (Dee) and Sandra Clarke (Sandy) of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren, Jason Boswell of Virginia Beach, Eric Stansbury of Richmond, Shane DeLong (Kenisha) of Lynchburg and Kelsey DeLong Coronato (Paul) of Lynchburg; her siblings, Ray Scott (Linda), Sallie Mayo and Janice Hannah of North Carolina; her sisters-in-law, Betty Whitehurst Scott and Cathy Scott of North Carolina; her parents, Nathan Scott and Lydia "Doll" Scott of North Carolina; her brothers, Nathan Scott (Big Buddy) of North Carolina and Roland Scott (Love) of North Carolina; and her brother-in-law Roy Hannah of North Carolina. She was also cherished by Many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
