She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Sanders. She is survived by: her sons, Jim Sanders (Irene) and Walter Sanders (Paula); and her grandchildren, Christine, Daniel, Patrick, Matthew, Corrie and Nicholas. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Helen was a homemaker, bookkeeper at George Mason University, and a volunteer at the American Heart Association.
