He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Gray and Etta Gray; his brother Hubert Claytor Gray, Jr.; his sister-in-law Shirley Leah Gray; his brother Wilbur Carlton Gray; his sister-in-law Dorothy Hathaway Gray; his sister Virginia Gray Trent; and his sister-in-law Betty Reid (Billy Reid).

He is survived by: his wife Dot; his nieces and nephews, Sharon Gray (Carlton), Robert Gray (Jean), Sheryl Reid Brown (Stephen), Joy McBride (Gary), Philip Woo and William Reid (Maria); Jean McLean Davis and Dohsie Daniel Woo.
