He was predeceased by: his brother Johnny Hobbs; and his parents, Leona Hobbs and John Hobbs. He is survived by: his sister Brenda Woods; his brother-in-law Michael Woods; his nieces, Sheri Woods and Laura Ashley McGonegle (Matthew McGonegle); his nephew Christopher Woods; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob Woods, Grady McGonegle, Addison McGonegle and Callie Harper McGonegle.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Holloman Brown Funeral Home (8464 Tidewater Dr, Norfolk, VA 23518). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (8100 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505).
