She was predeceased by: her parent Shun Yao. She is survived by: her parent Meng Yao; her husband Scott; her sons, James and Joshua; her sisters, Lynn Yao Oliker and Jacqueline Yao Rubin; and her pets, Huckie and Tommy.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Colonial Grove Memorial Park (3445 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456).
