She was predeceased by: her husband George P. Brown; and her sister Phyllis Baker. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Brown, David Brown, Janice Edgar and Sharon Brown; her daughters-in-law, Julie, Anneliesje and Janet; her grandchildren, Daniel Brown (Ariana), Katherine Brown, Holly Flaniken (Nelson), Victoria Adams (Dave), George Brown (Megan), Jack Brown and Jessica Maisano (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Madeline, Weston, Eliza, Blakely and Elio.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Lynnhaven Colony Congregational Church (2217 W Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23451).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore or to another organization dedicated to feeding those in need.
