It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Raymond Gaffrey of Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Gaffrey and Catherine Kelsch; and his brothers, Tony, Frank and Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Florence T. Shreeves; his children, Theresa, Brian and Christopher; his grandsons, Andrew Sokolowski and Alex Cogar; and his siblings, Ann Clark, Jim (Betty) and Kelly (Dolly). He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
