It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Wilson of Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie and Horace Wilson; his grandchild Kennedy; and his siblings, Alice Grimstead, Horace Wilson, Jr., James Wilson, Sylvester Wilson, William Wilson, Barbara Williams, Joseph Larry Wilson and Regina.

He is survived by: his wife Corrine Zollicoffer; his children, Michael Wilson (Joann), Shawn Wilson (Janet), Demitri Wilson (Heather), Terez Harold, Kristy Alexander (Gary) and Karen Flowers (Hasan); his grandchildren, Cierra, Malik, Isis, Demitri, QuaShawn, Imani, Kayla and Ryleigh; and his siblings, Florence Tilley, Curtis Wilson (Delores), Joyce Ann Bradford (Wallace), Jennie Wiggins, Arlene Baker and Bernard Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who felt like his family.
