She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Belote Jr. and Jewel Ramell Belote; and her sister Jacqueline Godfrey. She is survived by: her husband William Mitchell; her sister Deborah Connolly; her children, Kelly O'Brian, Kortney Berg (Matthew) and Benjamin O'Brian (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Parker, Gannon, McKenna, Kaylin, Audrina, Fischer and Kingston; and her stepgrandchildren, Dax and Atalee.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home (601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Rosewood Memorial Park (631 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Cancer Society.
